Think jewellery accessory and you will undoubtedly think necklace. As the most popular fashion jewellery accessory, a necklace can showcase your individuality like no other addition you make.

There are many different types of necklaces from the long pendant to the short choker necklace. You may like a chunky, statement necklace or prefer a more delicate lighter design. Whatever your preference, if chosen well, a necklace can alter the appearance of your outfit taking you from day to night wear– from a boho look to a sophisticated image.

Having lived in Europe we have seen first hand how naturally our continental counterparts accessorise their outfits. A necklace for them is not something only to be worn for an evening out. Their style and flair leads them to automatically adorn knitwear with a leather pendant necklace of chunky silver charms. Team a crisp, white shirt and jeans with a selection of elegant, complementary, single strand necklaces. Perk up work wear with a signature necklace to suit. The permutations are limitless.
In the UK this seemingly effortless way of dressing does not seem so well – effortless and accessorising is often an afterthought or not thought of at all!

Perhaps it's because we are afraid to try something different? We often hear clients say "I don't wear jewellery, I can't wear a big necklace or I'm not used to accessorising my outfit". The truth is accessorising an outfit is fun, stimulating and practise makes perfect! If you are not afraid to experiment the whole experience is enjoyable and can work wonders for your personal look.

Perhaps there is too much choice, what do you choose? Everywhere you look now you will find necklaces, bracelets etc in abundance. Necklaces racked together in a bewildering array of styles and colours that unless you are a seasoned accessory shopper just tend to confuse you even further and make choosing the right piece harder still.
